THE 36 HOUR DAY has so much information that a caregiver will fine useful and enlightening. I bought it because a friend recommended it to me since I am dealing with 3 relatives and a close friend who all have dementia ranging from mild to severe. This book covers them ALL. It will help you understand the workings of the demented person's mind.....what they do and why they do it. I HIGHLY recommend it to all caregivers.

I was a caregiver for my Mother in Law and this book was a GREAT HELP in dealing with someone with Alzheimer's disease. We have several people for our Church that are in assisted living due to this disease. I have Made this book available to any member that wants a better understanding how to communicate with someone that has this disease.

Having a mother goint through alzhiemner's I foung it very helpful understanding her actions. Even thought I knew she wasn't doing things to irritate me on purpose, it gave valitity to what I was seeing. It also is making me aware of what is going to happen and how to prepare for it.

I bought this book for my half sister, because my birth mom has Alzheimer's disease. My adoptive mom had Alzheimer's and I found this book extremely helpful in describing the various stages of the disease. I have given it to other friends in the past as well.

It was very helpful for me as a child of a Alzheimer father. I had it sent to a friend so do not know the condition it arrived in but she said she was happy to receive it.
