Rockcollectable Rating- Good

Well, this album misses the mark for excellent, but it puts in a solid good.
It has the great triple threat guitars, the driving beat, the "turn it up!" mode of listening, but it just doesn't break the "awesome" barrier. The talent is there, but the lyrics just don't match up with the Southern Rock Greats - Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, etc. It probably won't be listened to as much as some 5/5 CD's in your collection, but it worth having in your collection.
This "Rock Opera" is really a concept album, which portrays a rock band, from inception to fatal airplane crash, it is in fact, an ode to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
