A Very Brady Sequel (DVD, 2003)

I remember watching this when it came out in the 90's and I loved it. Now I have 2 kids, 5 and 6 an they loved it as well. It is good for the kids, but has all the good references from the original series.

Great family movie. The movie is a great sequel to the original version. Love the quirkiness of the characters and the story line in this is funny. Purchased this to add to my dvd collection.

This is a rare sequel that is actually better than the original movie. It is funnier than an average episode of The Brady Bunch television show, yet the parody aspects are not so over-the-top that they will offend Brady Bunch fans. The performances (and make-up jobs!)of Gary Cole as Mike, Shelley Long as Carol, & Christine Taylor as Marcia are so dead-on that you'll think you're watching Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, & Maureen McCormick. The other actors don't look & sound so much like their TV counterparts, but they do capture the personalities of their characters. The story itself will satisfy everyone who ever wondered what happened to Carol Brady's first husband, as well as those who were annoyed or intrigued by that huge stone horse that was noticeably present in every episode near the foot of the Brady stairs.
