Durango Kids (DVD, 2003)

I purchased Durango Kids for my 7 and 4 year old grandchildren; something to entertain them on rainy days over the summer break. They and their friends watched it over and over! It was exciting enough to keep them interested, but not overly violent or frightening. It's a movie geared for children, but adults who are kids at heart will enjoy it also. I will say my grandkids have movies running the gamut from Star Wars I through VI to Bambi, and are quickly bored with movies that don't hold their interest, such as My Dog Skip, so for them to have viewed this one several times was a testament to its "watchability". Durango Kids was a worthwhile purchase.

This was a great movie. Bought it for my little boy and he loves it. The price was very reasonable. The reason for the purchase was because it was so cheap and looked like something my son would be interested in. thankyou

This is the one of the great films I've seen in a long time with no cuss words being used either. Durango Kids is about four kids who go out in the search of lost gold but end up slipping through a hole in time when they discover a hidden mine shaft that transports them to the old Wild West. Their magical journey takes them to a place where they encounter thieving bandits, pandemonium and adventure in their pursuit of lost gold. What the youngsters don’t know is that their Principal is trying to capture the lost treasure first. Now the gang has to stick together to find the hidden gold before their evil Principal locates the loot for himself! Adventure has a new Posse. In it Christina Milian plays a 17-18 year old who's a grandaughter in that town (fans of her will love this one). She's naturally as sweet as can be. So this turned out to be a very nice and relaxing film to watch. I've seen it 3 times already and I plan to see it again with my nephews when they come this spring......
