I bought this CD as a present for my fiance's birthday. He seems to like it! The CD has a lot of bad language and hatred in it, so it seems to bring down the skills of the performer, but he is a very talented young man. The actual music is good and very well put together!

I usually just buy my music off iTunes, but then I thought to check on ebay for used cd's and a better deal. Believe it or not, some cd's are cheaper then what you would get on iTunes. This was the first cd I bought of eBay and I don't regret it at all, with the final price plus shipping I got about a $2.00 diffrence, which is a great deal considering you get the physical cd and not just digital tracks with cover art. The only bad thing is that the shipping took about a week, but still I don't think that really matters.

The Marshall Mathers LP is a great CD! Eminems lyrics are very violent and definetly not appropriate for young children. The album includes many hit singles. This cd is great to have even for a collection of Eminem cds. What I like about this cd is that every song tells a story. The Marshall Mathers LP and the Slim SHady Lp are the best eminem albums ever!

Hey I wanted to try his music, I guess I expected something more like Kid Rock stuff. I do not think I am a fan. Expected more rap and less BS. Might keep 1-2 songs on my MP3, but wanted music to get me pumped up and not thinking WHY.

Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. If you do not already have an Eminem CD this is the first you should get. Eminem puts all other rappers to shame. I hate it when people say Paul Wall gives Eminem a run for his money. Eminem would make Paul Wall limp away with his fake grill up his butt after a freestyle battle. Eminem is simply the best! Enough Said!

This is one of the best CD's ever released. It is not for the faint of heart. It's isn't for your little kid. But it is a passionate and well written CD. Right when you hear the intro you know it is going to be an out there experience and from then on you will be shocked, distured, but in awe of how well Eminem does his thing. I highly reccomend this CD to any hip-hop fan, it is a must have. Eminem's best CD no questions asked.

Sometimes I don't know about Eminem. I just don't know.
Out of his first three albums, I consider this one the best. I haven't even bothered with ENCORE or CURTAIN CALL or whatever -- because I feel it won't get any better. While Em's lyrically ability still exhibits flashes of brightness, I think he's pretty much worn out his image.
THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP is more self-assured than SLIM. It relates its issues well, about the onset of fame and the responsibilities thereof, the power of misapprehened images, parts of it are fun, other parts are shockingly poignant. Forgive me, but I think "Stan" is Em's greatest song ever, even though it's not my favorite. 'MATHERS fixes a tight grip on what Em was about at that time, it delivers what was meant. It doesn't have any of the slight awkwardness of SLIM, and it doesn't flounder on its past laurels like SHOW.
