Wow. The Cell is fantastic and ranks in my top 5 Thriller DVDs ever. The cinematography and direction are superb – creating one of the finest spectacles on DVD. The Cell also represents a bizarre time for some of the actors – for instance, The Cell stars Jennifer Lopez (who since this film, has created some of the worst movies ever – Gigli, Monster in Law, etc) and Vince Vaughan (who soon turned from drama to comedy with Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, etc). Vincent D’Onforio is superb as the villain – almost unrecognizable!
Great date movie. Great adventure movie. A Must See (even though Jennifer Lopez stars!).

I am NOT a J-Lo fan. However, in this movie she is believable and well cast. It is an intense movie about the psychy and all it has to offer. The concept of being able to transmit yourself into a comatose person's brain is astounding. The possibilities are enless. It is an emotional, distressing and actiony (is that a word?) movie that will hold you if for no other reason the scenery, the imagery and the concepts. Both of the Vincents are there which give for great "hottie" factor (Vaugh and D'Onofreo). Again, quite psychologically intense.

I just love this movie because it is a virtual sci-fi movie, that really gets you attached and involved in. once you watch it, you will like it..but dont watch it if you have a weak stomach..

This movie is definetly out there. It was by far the most colorful eerie movies yet. It's one of those movies, you never get tired of. I know it has Jennifer Lopez in it but she played the part very well. It was kinda out of the normal horror movies you see everyday but worth your while.

I bought this as a gift for someone I'm dating, because he'd said he didn't know why he didn't own the movie. I watched it with him the night it arrived. It was an incredible psychological thriller and I was really glad I got to see it.. Very well made, incredible visual effects, and intense to watch. I'm really glad I made this purchase!

Love this movie. Best set designs and costumes. Vincent D'Onofrio is the perfect serial killer. J. Lo is good in the movie, pre-diva, Ben Affleck hype. Vince Vaughn in a super serious role.

This is a good thriller, it has disturbing images that I wouldn't recomend for anyone under 18. If you enjoy being scared and grossed out. this is the movie for you.

With all the negative talk about Jennifer Lopez's acting ability, I completely disagreed with the masses in this movie. I have read many of the other reviews and would have to agree with them 100% about the visuals in this movie. They were great. Scary at times but great never the less. This movie has such a unique presentation (script included) that it made me love it. The story line was not your run of the mill nor was the cinematography. Maybe Jennifer's acting was poor but I didn't notice it amidst the story line that kept me not wanting to miss anything (except when I might close my eyes because I was scared). And then Vincent (and I don't butcher spelling his last name), was an awesome villian. I love him in Law & Order and I love him in this as well. Watch it for yourself.

this movie is something different and if you are jlo fan you should get this one..her acting in this one is actually pretty good! :) it can be a little "scary" in some parts! but nothing big !

Absolutely great movie, a must have for any fan of trippy horror. It has excellent cinematography, is very well acted (particularly in the rarely-acceptable category of child actors), and overall is one of the best movies ever made.

I love it cause Vincent D'onofrio is in it and playing different characters that are so very different from the other ones in the movie ...great acting and special effects... pretty intense in some parts. You kinda have to get use to certain scenes and then enjoy the acting. I decided to buy it because of the price and Vincet D. being in it. Hope this helps.

Give me a break! This movie had very poor acting performances and story line was boring. Through most part of the movie, I kept looking at the time. If it was not for Jennifer starting in this film I would have ask for a refund. The Director Tarsem Singh should have thought lone and hare on what he was putting together with this one. However the costumes and makeup was good, THAT’S ALL…..

When she is asked to help the FBI to go into the mind of a serial killer who went into a coma. There was a victim that needed to be found and time was running out. When Jennifer was in the mind of the serial killer the scenes and dramas were exquisite and mortifying.

) This movie is one of my favorite movies! It combines good old fashion police work with virtual reality and is a horror movie at the same time. Watch it and you will love it. I would also like to mention this is a very hard movie to find, I tried everywhere then finally found it on Ebay. Also do not judge this movie based on "the cell part 2" I heard it wasn't good and isn't even close to comparison to this one. Trust me you'll love it, and this is not a movie for children!
