  Writing like Sophie Kinsella!
Review created: 06/07/08

As an AA myself, I loved "32AA." I thought the writing was charming and whimsical and reminded me of my favorite, Sophie Kinsella. Michelle Cunnah is a great writer!

Emmeline (Emma) is turning 30. She has a great (or so she thinks) boyfriend, a good job (as his assistant), and is excited about embarking on her thirties. On her birthday, however, her life is turned upside down.

There is a lot of grumbling about her small breasts, but the book definitely does not center around that fact. Emma is struggling to become an independent woman. Her two best friends, Rachel and Tish, have good sub-story lines, as well. Rachel got on my nerves a little but she redeemed herself by the end.

I thought this was a fantastic read! I haven't liked a heroine so much since Becky Brandon.
