) Chinatown stars Jack Nicholson,Faye Dunaway,and John Huston. Nicholson plays Jake Gittes a private investigator hired by rich socialite to investigate a simple cases of adultery. Instead,it turns into a tangle of deceit,corruption,and treachery. Chinatown is one of the few movies that movie critics call a classic that truly is. Jack Nicholson gives one of his best performance. This movie shows why Jack Nicolson is worthy of his oscars. The movie is among the best private eye/film noir movies ever made. Roman Polanski directed the film. He is among best directors in hollywood. This movie is by far his best film with Rosemary's Baby being a close second. I wish they made movies like this nowadays. Don't miss this classic.

my friend bought chinatown for me on dvd from ebay .... this film is quite litterally the best movie ever made ..... it has classic preformances from jack nicholson(his best work along w/ one flew over the cuckoos nest) not to be missed a+++++++

Classic Jack Nicholson movie with Faye Dunaway and John Huston. Mystery, intrigue,good acting, excellent story. It has it all. Nothing to not like. I purchased this movie to add to my collection of good movies.
