Moore good 80's pop, but nothing Moore redefining

Geoff Moore has always been good with catchy songs and encouraging lyrics. His cd's are often a mixture of hits and misses, with usually more hits than misses.
His talent and integrity are admirable. His music is always tight yet still airy, even when dealing with more serious topics. It is bouncy and snappy.
The title track is an immature look at Intelligent Design which some younger teens might find helpful. I Can See Clearly is a cool remake as is Norman's Why Should the Devil?, which both rock. Life Together is a cheery call for community. Heart to God encourages biblical service. When All is Said and Done is a terrific acoustic ballad about departing this world having left a mark upon it. Steve Curtis Chapman may also lend a hand on at least one ballad, if I remember correctly.
This cd was targeted at younger teens and with that audience in mind, it delivers. Otherwise, it is not his most mature or consistent cd. This is not a bad thing for here, at least he's not trying to be rock star. We already have enough of those wannabes, which makes such innocent cd's as this still pertinent. Because of the younger targets, this cd has some keyboard effects that date it and make it cheesey. For this reason, this cd is not as good as Friend Like U, which is comparable.
Moore exemplifies what CCM was meant to be, relational and evangelistic. He bridges radio and church adequately.
