Everybody knows the story of The Three Musketeers, but Gene Kelly's acrobatics and hilarious, fun-filled swordfights make this version exciting from the first scene to the last. Nobody plays D'Artagnon like Gene Kelly. He's part Fairbanks, part Flynn, and all flair. At times the plot is a bit muddled, but overall the film is very entertaining and worth multiple viewings. I highly recommend it to everyone.
The Three Musketeers is currently only available on VHS. Don't let this bother you, because the sound and visual quality of the VHS version are fine.
