I bought this LP back when it first came out for the song "Dirty Laundry". Boy was I surprised to find the reange of songs on here beyong that one! An Excellent first attempt at being a solo artist from Don Henley. If anyone should want to get a post-Eagles effort this would be it. From the opening title track to the last gospel offering of The Uncloudy Day, this album is indeed worth the listen and space in any music collection!

) Henley is always going to be one of my 5 or 6 favorite Eagles. I enjoy most of this album...but the ultimate chuckle is to be found in listening to him rant on about how Ronald Reagan was going to get us all killed with nukes.
Here we are...still above ground...and now Henley and the Eagles are sounding the warning cry about Iraq(Out of Eden).
I am sure in another 26 years we'll all be reflecting how insightful they were back in '08.
Anyhow...I Can't Stand Still was a good breakout album, and I enjoy listening to it.
