If there were ever an artist that could just take all the troubles and worries away in life, even for just a little while, it would be Jimmy Buffett. This CD is like the "Starter Kit" for any Buffett fan. And if you DON'T already know these songs by heart.... you will as soon as you get into some margaritas. A little time at the beach with a cold one at sunset with Jimmy Buffett playing is just one of lifes sweetest rewards. No song on this disc will disappoint. They are ALL great songs... to know by heart. Or at least get a little tipsy and pretend you know them.

I have purchased several of these CDs and tapes ---- great songs to bring back old memories of the ole days. jimmy is great --- very enjoyable type music for any age.

The Jimmy Buffett, Songs You Know By Heart CD is really wonderful.... it sure brings back the memories. You know, some songs never get old and you always love to hear them again. A lot of these revive the times when life was more simple and carefree - you know, less responsibility. It sure takes one back. Really a great CD!

A great CD...makes you feel like you're in the tropics. Reminds me very much of being in Key West. I dare you not to sing along!

For those who don't already know - a ParrotHead is a hardcore Jimmy Buffett fan. Although I have all of Jimmy's other records (CD and Vinyl) from the beginning to the most recent "Hoot Soundtrack", I have somehow always managed to not buy this one. I guess it's because I have all of these tracks already on other CD's. I finally broke down and bought it if for no other reason than to complete my collection. One thing I realized after opening it; all of the songs are my favorites from years gone by. The second thing I realized is this is a great CD to indoctrinate non-ParrotHeads into the Buffett music scene. Every song on this CD is almost always played at his concerts so it is also a great concert warmup CD. Although Jimmy has remade many of the tracks on live albums (some great, some not so great in my opinion) these are the original arrangements. This CD is a must have for any ParrotHead and is also a great CD for the newly indoctrinated.

Jimmy Buffets best work. Love this CD, wore the last one out!!! All the songs you know by heart and so familiar with. These songs make the cold days of winter a little less cold and sad. Oldies but definitely goodies!!! Have fun in Margaritaville and if you don't there must be a woman to blame, cause I know...it's my own darn fault.

Great quality CD! I was tickled to find it after all these years of being a Buffett fan. I remember his "marina concerts" in S. FL, and even found an old T-shirt from his 1995 College Tour in my closet - Happy OLD Camper with this CD!

If you are a Buffett fan, this is a must!! Great music..... All the old time favorites... If you need to "escape" for a few minutes, this is great therapy.

This is such a great CD for that tropical feeling. This one includes his most famous songs and it's so easy to listen to, you can listen to it again. Makes your work day go faster, and great to kick back with a margarita too!

As one of the music industry's most prolific recording artists, Jimmy Buffett has more music out there than anyone but the most diehard Parrothead would ever attempt to own. To me, the early part of his career was when he did his best stuff and this album contains some of the best of that era. It is the one Buffett recording I take with me when I can only take one. Likewise, if you don't have any JB in your collection but want a token album, this is definitely the one to get.

this is a bunch of songs that we all grew up listening to. great for parties etc. this is worth the money!

If you love Jimmy, this is a must. And of course I do. This will be a cd that you will use when wanting to hear much of his earlier work.

One of my favorite albums growing up. Jimmy Buffett knows how to tell stories to make us laugh cry and wanna just plain get drunk! This is one of my favorite artists. Sends you on a vist to warmer weather and an island of parties and summertime. Great for all ages.

I first heard this CD in a store and I had to have it. I actually have 2 copies of this - one for each of my vehicles. Every song on it is one you will sing along with. When you need a Buffett fix, this is the ticket. I am buying a third copy to give to my son for his car. Whenever he rides with me, he always tunes to this CD to listen to - it's the one CD we can both agree on listening to.
