Pokemon FireRed Version (Game Boy Advance, 2004)

I bought this version right when it came out. It is worth the buy. It is like a redone red version with better graphics, and new stuff such as the islands. If you liked the old pokemon versions, be sure to buy this one. It is very close to the old ones, but better in my opinion.

This game is great and has a lot of replay value! It still has most of the original Pokemon and many many new ones!

well i was glad i was able to buy it cheaper but there is a veris on the game, i have to move it to an old game and save it before i shut down.

I just got taken for a fake made in china game. I hate the fact that this happened to me. Please always check with the buyer if the game is in its original packaging or if it is open. If unopened make sure the wireless adapter is included. EVERY COPY HAS AN ADAPTER WHEN IN ORIGINAL CONDITION

We all know that Pokemon is one of the best games of all time. Fire Red Version is no exception to that title. It is a fantastic game that will entertain you for hours and hours and hours. Once you beat the game there is still much to do. In this version, the new Pokemon and locations add to all the possibilities of Pokemon. If you are wondering if you should buy it or not, BUY IT, its great!

I bought this item for my son for Christmas. I spoke with several of his friends before I bought it to see which was better, Pokemon FireRed or Pokemon Emerald. They and my son agree that FireRed is much more fun. They mostly like pokemon because the can trade pokemon with a link cable. I paid about $5.00. less by buying it on e-bay, and that is always nice.

Pokemon games are awesome, and now that the old red version has been updated it's even better. awesome game!!!!

If you're a veteran Pokemon master like me, this game is for you. If you've never played Pokemon but are interested, this game is for you. The nostalgia itself is reason alone for you die-hard Pokemon lovers to purchase Fire Red or Leaf Green. The main story has stayed the same, but excellent new surprises wait just around the corner: improved graphics, new locations, more adventure! This is a whole new game! For all the new guys and girls, the game gives you comprehensive answers to all your questions via the L/R buttons, should you have any. The game is not a licensed game but a cheap imatation. Characters are not pokemon and we worried about a virus so quit using immediatley.

This is a very fun game in which provides many hours of entertainment. Battle as a miniature 'you' who you can name your name or any of your favorite names! After that, you are able to battle and catch new Pokemon! Once you establish an elite force of Pokemon, you are then able to go on and battle trainers and other Pokemon League Members which hold badges you need to continue into the Pokemon League and become the best Pokemon Trainer ever!
Throughout your voyage, you are able to play many other games and challenges that add a little extra to the game.
Altogether, I would highly recommend this game for anyone who has a Gameboy; another plus for purchasing this game is: these games never lose their value; they are always in demand! You can resell it fast if you decide you don't like the game for any reason!

I like that pokemon keeps comming out with new games really! it just give the people more of a choice..what I dont like those people who write annoying messages about OMG another pokemon game!!, like they cannot look the other way and ignore it lol

My son 8 years old wanted the leaf Green and other Pokemon games for his birthday just before Xmas. His sister had this on her Xmas list but I did not know that she wanted it.

I decided that it might be fun for him to help buy this by shopping on ebay. We looked at what was available and settled on this game and a cable that could also be used with his big brothers Game Cube. We put in a bid and waited. He asked in the morning if it would come that day and I explained how long it could take. He learned how to shop and wait for something he wanted. It was good for us to do this together in a learning environment and then it was good for him to learn to wait for what he wanted and to save some money as well. The item came before his birthday and he was very excited. It worked perfectly.

His sister had a fit and said that he only bought it because it was the first thing on her list. We had quite a time with that but she was able to get other things for Xmas that she wanted and some through ebay.

Ok so I have lost track of how many Pokemon games there are or what number this one is but this game will not disappoint. The objectives are the same catch, train, and fight Pokemon. The graphics on Fire Red are much improved and make game play much more fun. If you are a Pokemon fan this title is worth adding to your collection. A nice feature is that you can play as a girl. So know females can vote and enjoy playing Fire Red gender according. I do recommend this game. Fire Red and Leaf Green Versions are the best ones.

This game was a birthday gift for a friend. He seems to be enjoying it. I wish the wireless adapter was included, but it was not. I am not a POKEMON player, so the gameplay I cannot comment on. However the receiver of this game seems to really like it.
