Gravity's Rainbow by Pat Benatar (CD, Jun-1993, EMI-Capitol Special Markets)

I'm a big Pat Benatar fan, so take this with a grain of salt. I really enjoyed the move to a more progressive rock style. The songs are mostly quick paced and enjoyable. "Somebody's baby" is a particularly moving song. I highly reccommand.

From the beinning you are captivated by the stunning recording quality of the guitars. Her voice, albeit sounding a little raspier than before, were phenominal. This CD is comparable to any of her former CD's and for me ranks right up there at the top.
Well written songs that anyone can relate to. At times I almost felt a small country theme underneath it all. Now for those of you who don't like country you probably wouldn't really notice it at all and for those of you who like country you might actually understand what I mean.
I recommend this if you are a Pat fan; this is a "must have" CD and well worth the pennies it goes for on line.
The only con I can say about the CD is that it never received the airtime playing that music of this quality deserved.

Bought it because of one song and I couldn't find it anywhere but on eBay. After listening to it, I actually like the whole CD. I received it in perfect condition.
