The American Quarter Horse by Steven D. Price (2004, Paperback)

This is an extremely informative book that contains a plethora of information revolving around the most popular breed in America, the quarter horse. I had to buy it as a reference book for a 4-H competition and have studied from it often. Another good book if your looking for information on quarter horses would be The First 50 Years, but that book concentrates more on the actual founding of the association. But Price did a great job of covering a broader spectrum of subjects pertinent to the quarter horse.

The book is full of basic information of the history of the American Quater Horse. I like the book. I bought it for my library for my grand children. This book is a good reference for the evolment of the American Quarter Horse. I like the book no dislikes.
