Very stylish and ethereal. Then they start stabbing. Not a med-student kind of stabbing, more like ballet, where you wouldn't mind getting killed that way.

This is the best movie ever and on blu-ray it makes it really come to life. This movie is a true story of the great spartan warrios that fought the persians.

I absolutely ADORE this DVD. Hubby and I have owned it since it came out and I've personally watched it at least 10 times since we bought it. Certain parts of the movie are a bit over-done, but it adds to the movie completely. It makes characters seem mystical and somewhat insane with their wardrobe. The overly shown scene of dude getting kicked into a huge abyss is definately NOT the best part of the movie, but a good part, anyway.

The movie itself is a great watch. Very entertaining. The Blue-ray features and awesome. This is a must have DVD for any Collector or Movie-Buff.

ATHOUGH PREVIOSLY VIEWED, THE DVD PURCHASED WAS IN MY OPINION BETTER THAN NEW BECAUSE I SAVED MONEY ON A QUALITY ITEM THAT NO ONE CAN DIFERENTIATE FROM STORE BOUGHT.

Lots of action and a great, inspiring epic based on actual events. If Iran calls it a "propoganda campaign" every Westerner should watch it and learn about the Spartans!

The Blue Ray DVD "300" is superb. The picture and sound qulaity is flawless and is an absolute compliment watching it on my new LCD TV. .

One of my top 10 all time favorite movies although it is truly on a league of its own. The only thing out there that looks like this (but not really) is Sin City. No other movie has battle scenes quite like this. Looks amazing on a 1080p 120hz plasma. This is one of those movies that can be watched time and time again.

I was under the impression that this was a fully functional BluRay disc, this only has the title on it, no extras, no menu, just plays the movie. This is obviously a burned version.

I never had the desire to see this movie when it was released at the show,but when I had the chance to watch it on my plasma tv on one of the high def.channels I was amazed.The story line was good.Acting was great.As a woman I don't always appreciate fight scenes,but loved the way these were filmed.Slowing the action until right before the clash of the weapons was a fantastic effect.I would highly recommend this movie.

I bought this movie because it is a true guy movie. You can never be bored of 300. It is truly an entertaining spectacle. I got the blu-ray version, so already with the great graphics I got the creme of the crop!

This is a great retelling of the battle of Thermopylae. The cinematography and effects are very good and look even better in Blu-ray. The Spartans kick ass and are entertaining from beginning to end.

This is one of my favoite movies ever. This is a movie about one of the greatest stories ever told of the 300 spartans that sent out to protect their beloved country. So much action/violence and lots of blood that pretty much makes this at least a must see for any fan of war/action movies. Definately not a family movie!!!

One of the greatest stories ever known told in the best possible way - via Frank Miller. The Battle of Thermopylae was an amazing example of courage, wits and pride. Gerard Butler leads a wonderful cast that puts you in Greece when the Persians came to expand their vast empire.
The movie isn't totally accurate to history, however, key elements are there but one has to understand the premise. This movie is a story being told by a commander to the entire Spartan army a year after the 300 Spartans showed King Xerxes I, what true warriors, lead by King Leonidas I, could do. The story is exagerated wonderfully to rile the Spartan Army.
This movie does contain some brief but evident nudity and lots of gore. If your stomach is weak for forced amputations, gallons of blood, or sexual activity, this movie is not for you. If you like spiced up history with a twist of Frank Miller, enjoy!

Blu Ray is just awesome with the picture quality. The way it enhances the picture in conjunction with the surround sound it makes it a pure pleasurable viewing experience.

Great, great movie. Made different than most movies, but I loved it. One of my all time favorite movies, right there behind Gladiator. Highly recommended!

this was the very first blu-ray movie i watched on my ps3 heck my first blu-ray movie period i have this also on dvd and watched it on a very nice sdtv in a top quality dvd player, but seeing it on our new 37inch lcd hdtv in 1080i was just flat out stunning it was like watching it for the first time all over again!! for history/action fans this is a must own blu-ray with my 1000 watt stereo with surround only 4.1 you could feel the bones crunch and taste the blood!!! my family and i sat there with jaws agape most of the movie !!!! do treat yourself to this keeper!!!
