Panasonic Palmcorder PV-L559

I've made several purchases of camcorders on E-bay in the past few months.I happen to have the Panaonic PV-L557, which unfortunately was damaged by an overload of DC power. However, the model PV L-559 is a far superior camera . It has a Hi-Def zoom lens 26X. and Zoom 150X Digital. It is a very reliable unit. The L-557 was also an extremely reliable unit. It was an operator error responsible for damaging the L-557.

Of course, used camcorders and other similar complex items, may appear like new in photographs and Sellers do at times exagerate the condition and functionality
of an item, which when received is a major disappointment when the item turns out to be defective and not as presented.

i love the fact that they actually still work and that it records video this camera was $500.00 when we first got it. it's kiiind of out dated but is really good quality. what i dislike about this item is that it cant be edited on the computer (at least i dont think?!)

This Panasonic palmcorder pv-L559 was a great buy work very well and got it a a great price.It's best to look at a lot of what you want to buy to make sure you get the best prive and to check the feed back left from others thats one way to make sure you get a nice palmcorder and dont be in a rish take you time even if it takes 3 or 4 days to get what you want look it up on the enternet and read about it so you know it what you want it to do to help make you decide what right for you and you can't get a better price on any thing than you can on ebay

The camcorder is very easy to use. It is in excellent condition and we got a great deal. We decided to buy it because we were tired of borrowing one from others for family events. A family member has one similar and since we were familiar with how to operate it, we looked for something like it. We were very pleased with the optical zoom and the light weight. The camera came to us packed very carefully to avoid any shipping damage. There isn't any problem with it at all.

The Panasonic Palmcorder PV-L559 is not such a bad little vhs-c camcorder. It comes with loads of features and the lcd screen in very handy. The video capture quality is very good and the microphone records superb audio. The light that it has is very bright, and the back light seems to do the job.
The only issue I have with it is that it does not have a independent audio jack/mic input. So the only audio capture source is the built in mic.
The camera is not as light as a DV-recorder but its not too heavy for a VHS-C.
The one I bought had a bad battery but you can buy them on the net for about $15-20, and the newer manufactured batteries are now Li-on Lithium Ion. which are far superb to the original lead base batteries.
It also comes with a handy little mini remote that works great, it starts and stops play and record as well as zooms, and fast forward and reverse.
If you want a way to make some videos and are on a tight budget I recommend this camcorder. You can buy one for around $15-20 and buy a brand new battery (if you need to) for about the same. If you want to transfer your video to your PC all you need is an Easycap converter (RCA to USB) you can buy one of those converters here on Ebay for about $10.
For what it is and what it does for the cost I give it 9/10

nice palmcorder I use it in steed of a pc cam and boy is it better and the price was nice. I can take it out with me and tape parts of the city I live in then come home and edit it with no problems, it uses the little c-vhs tapes that can be put into an adapter to put in my vcr. Like I say the video is great
1000% better that a pc cam.

This camera is in excellent condition, as listed. It was a great buy. We will definitely buy from this seller again.

I have this camcoreder since 1999, recently in 2009, the screen flex cable worn out, i just replaced it and now works flawessly again, really good camcorder, i love the vhs-c adapter that comes originaly, an absolute great product.
