I love Aretha Franklin Greatest Hits because they are classic hits. The way she sings with so much feeling and the strong religious overtones are very enjoyable to any one who appreciates good soul music from the Queen of Soul. I have listened to her for many years and still enjoy the way she sings.

Purchased this ten years ago. However I let someone borrow it, and you know what happens after they've had your stuff more than six months, they think they bought it themselves.
So I am replacing it and resolve to no longer let people borrow things from my collection.
Anyway as far as I am concerned this is her best work, mid 60's to mid 70's classics. Those were my young partying days, and we loved us some Retha baby.
This is when she wore the crown uncontested, in the past 15 years I don't know,
names like Whitney, Maria, Jill and Beyonce come to mind. And please excuse the spelling of any of these womens names because I'm not a big fan of two of them anyway.

A Fantastic music albumn. Sung by a Great Woman. This has got to be 1 of the best albumns i have in my cd collection. This kinda completes my soul music by this lovely lady. Her music has a way of entering ones soul, and making one feel so alive. This lady sings from the heart, no doubt about it and this albumn proves it. ENJOY....M.M.

A Classic!
) Aretha's vocals are timeless and truly from the soul. Her vocal range travels smoothly without effort or limitation. I used this CD to introduce my teenage boys to Aretha for expandiing their appreciation for true soul music. This collection is easy listening and energetic. Packed with nostalgia that anyone can identify with. I can only wish that the insert had more pictures!
