This book isn't a censure of everything non-Christian and it isn't immersed in holier-than-thou Christian morality. "Taming Your Tongue" is about being self-aware and the consideration you should show toward others verbally. It teaches you how to cut out negative speech, promoting positive speech that will enhancing your life as well as the lives of those around you. It seems that you tend to hear swear words or negative thoughts inserted in every sentence now-a-days and sometimes after every other word. We are beginning to take it for granted that this is the new way to talk or let others talk to us this way. It demeans us as individuals to verbally converse this way. This book will help you stop and think about the words you use before your tongue flips them out. Positive talking.....positive listening. We all need that in our lives.

This book was not a book to "read." It was more of a devotional type of book with each day focusing on a different type of tongue. Not what I expected.
