I seem to have rang into a string of movies that seem to have been produced just to see how many suckers like me would rent them. This one is certainly a candidate to be ripped off the shelves and smashed to save potential victims their time and money especially seeing some of you bidding away on this. STOP now! It is nothing like the earlier classic of 20,000 leagues and the title actor should be ashamed of himself, one for taking the part and two for acting as if he deserved to be in this dreadful movie!

) Save your money and only rent this, not buy this. Because I bought this movie, we watched it once, but never again. The squids were suppose to be mechanical but they just added to the cheesy special effects. I can't think of anything that I liked about this movie. Any of the other 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea were so much better.
