3 Doors Down - Away From The Sun (DVD, 2005, Includes Audio CD)

DVD sound and video is excellent and comes with a downloadable soundtrack to the DVD. Got mine on ebay for less than half price of other sites.

Highest quality sound. Bonus surround stereo mix for headphones, better than off the cd. Awesome live experience without any filler or overly-annoying crowd noise. The crowd actually enhances the experience. Outstanding!

Great DVD for 3 Doors Down fans. Shows them and what they do on stage. Very entertaining and covers most of their early hits.

This is a really good DVD, the surround sound is a different approach to concert DVDs. My one disappointment is that it doesn't have "That Smell", a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover that they did on a live EP that I have that really sounds great. But it really sounds great otherwise. I recently took my family to Edgefest in Dallas and by the time 3doorsdown came on it was getting cold and we were tired and decided to go home, I told my wife that when she got home she could just pop in this DVD I bought her and see 3downdoors in comfort. (and sounding much better)

It was in excellent quality and it gave you almost the thrill of being there. I would highly recommend this dvd for 3 doors down fans. The songs are awesome and Brad Arnold is a must see in concert to get the full body experience.

I've never listened to much of this band, but I'll confess after seeing this DVD I'd buy another one. Really enjoyed this DVD.

Very nice 2005 concert footage. Outstanding 'Monster Music' sound with many listening (several THX and Dolby options) and viewing options. If you have a nice TV and home theater setup, this will make you feel like you are front row of the concert. Loads of 'behind the scenes' stuff. One of my favorite music DVD's. I really like 3 Doors Down, and this has the best selection of their hits available. Enjoy!

Excellent show for the 3 Doors Down lover. But I've never seen camera work like this before. It can make you sick at times while watching it.

The DVD audio is some of the best you'll find. The video edit on some of the songs is so jerky you get about 2-3 seconds of one shot before changing. Dizzying! But the guys make up for that with their songs.
Some of the reviews about 3DD are just plain ignorant ramblings about how they are not hard enough or they haven't paid their dues. Bull! They are just a great band and a good bunch of guys. Just because they don't sing filth, holler profanity, or spit on their audience they are considered not real musicians. Grow up! It's good to see a big name group that you can even bring your kids to see. We need more like these guys.
The review is just "good" for the jerky video, but "excellent" for the music.

This DVD really rocks. I love the selections of listening from the crowd or listening as if you are on the stage with the band. The songs are great the sound is great. IF you have a stereo or surround sound system hooked up to your TV use this DVD to test it out. This is a must have for any 3-doors down fan. I was very skeptical about the products quality because of the cheap price,... but i was so glad i purchased it its worth whatever you pay for it and then some. Bring the band into your living room and enjoy the show i know i did!!!!!!!! ENJOY!!!
