Wiring a House by Rex Cauldwell (2002, Paperback, Revised)

The best electrical book I have ever seen. Describes the elements from the electric company hookup to the outlets. Most electrical books are marginal at best describing how to install a light or an outlet. This book gives information on installing the panel, how the electricity is run to your house, what size panel, and then goes to the light/outlet.

Easy to read review for someone doing home/wiring work. good, up to date; DIY visuals -excellent photos & solid,my projects came out fine. .

I have had alot of books on this but none as good as this one. if you can get it do!! its worth it.AAAA++++

after reseaching the level of knowledge that the author was credited with I looked on amazon.com and ebay for the product. Of course I made out better on Ebay by waiting a while for it to appear and obtained it for a bargain. Now I'm saving money applying the knowledge through my own efforts rather than hiring an expensive professional. A well written, informative book on residential wiring.
