I was delighted to be able to get a copy of A Flower Fairy Alphabet because it is currently out of print. I wanted a copy for a friend who grows between 360 and 400 varieties of fuschias and the fuschia fairy is on the front of the edition I got. Yeah! It is a wonderful book.

For anyone who enjoys wild flowers, the fairy kingdom, or just plain gorgeous book plates will enjoy this book. The book is arranged in alphabetical order, according to flower. Each beautifully painted flower has its own fairy. Each is different.
Some are female; some are male. All are charming and lovely.Each flower and fairy has its own short story. The pages could be removed and framed, but that would ruin a keepsake book. I purchased this for my granddaughter, and hope I haven't worn it out before I give it to her. This is a book that will be handed down.
