The book is pretty intense. It is not just like your regular fasting books or even fasting on your own. It is a very rigid regime and may not be for everyone. It is not so much that you may not be disciplined enough to do it, but you have to have the right kind of nutrients, enzymes and amino acids to do it right. For those who are really overweight, this a great jump start to get your body on the right track and for those who have been on a lot of meds to detoxify those chemicals out of your body. However, I think there are also other books on the market regarding detoxifying that may not seem so intimidating on your quest to rid your body of toxins as this one is. I would howver, give this an excellent rating for the knowledge you learn about how you should go about detoxifying your body in the correct way, versus just thinking if you just drink a lot of juices and water that should do it. Wrong. You need to put back into your body the nutrients, vitamins, minerals that you loose by detoxifying it and to gradually come off the detoxification in the correct manner without sending your body into toxic shockn or in some cases death!
