21 Grams (DVD, 2004)

Closing film at the 2003 New York Film Festival, this film is a remarkable study of grief, guilt and experimental storytelling structure. The performances are top notch.

this was a very intense,gut wrenching, great story......it is great how the people all interact and how the story ends

Advanced and stylish editing techniques. Great storyline. Terrific performances by a fantastic cast. The directing was very well done. All together an amazing movie. A Must see.

Strange plot, but really makes you sit and think. Pretty slow movie so don't expect to be entertained.

21 Grams is a movie to either love or hate. It is an emotional rollercoaster with three outstanding performances! The film itself takes a careful watching as it shows events out of sequence in order to build theme and tension. Yet by the end of the film everything falls into place and makes sense. If you liked the story structure of "Memento", you may like this film. This is not a "popcorn flick", but insead a film that requires a thoughtful and concentrated viewing, but in my oppinion, the effort is well worth it.

If you like the movies Traffic and Crash, then you will love 21 Grams. This movie is much darker than the other two. The characters interact throughout the movie in a very believable fashion. If you are having a bad day and are looking to be cheered up, this is not the movie for you. However, if you are looking for a great movie tying together several different peoples lives and how they all impact each other, despite not knowing each other, then this is for you. 5 stars. Joemo

Off-beat, dark and Qircky Drama. Watts and Penn give good performances. Although it dealt with some tough subjects.... it was still entertaining and well paced. Only disappointment, was that it only brushed over the meaning of the title at the end of the movie.

My friend had half of the movie on his computer, but we didn't know that until half way through the movie when it stopped. This was the biggest cliff hanger ever and the point of my story being--> 21 grams was so entertaining that i jumped on ebay on purchased it from a seller and had it shipped priority inorder to finish the movie myself, as well as 3 other buddies were enjoying tremendously. (the local movie store had all copies checked out!)

I know this is a poor review, but i dont want to spoil any of it. Its a great movie, its not about drugs (thats what i initially thought). Go see it, chekc out www.imdb.com for more info on the movie

I enjoyed the movie because of the interest in the director who was nominated again this year for Babel. The tape was used but had no damage to it that would affect its viewing.
