Excellent sound, bold, fresh and very original. Took me back years when I would listen to their first LP Album. Excellent job in remastering the original sound.

This was the perfect album to put on, grab a beer, light up a bong and listen to some good music. The songs are nice and long so a good buzz will be even better.Good players. You might even need another bong and beer before the album completes

Rare Earth........Being a "born and bred" Metro Detroit native, this "greatest hits" package is a "must have" for those who grew up in the 60's-70's. Rare Earth had a truely unique sound for a white-group of the age. The only sucessful white-band to sign with Motown, they mixed a rock-band sound, with the bluesy-soul of the period. Having powerful vocals, guitars, percussion, keyboards, and horns, they could sound as deep or light as they chose. Many radio standards are on this disc, as well as being "long-versions" of the best. If ya want period rock/soul, that's more complicated and meaningful than the "normal fare"......"Rare Earth" will suit the taste for the vintage and current listeners, for something different.
