2009 Standard Catalog Of Baseball Cards by Don Fluckinger (2008, Paperback)

Good book overall, and valuable reference guide, but the section on Sports Illustrated Posters from 1968 - 1970 is incomplete and inaccurate. As an example, no mention of the existence of the Jerry Koosman poster. Erroneous listing that the Bud Harrelson poster actually depicts Ken Harrelson (both posters actually exist). Most significantly, the pricing/value structure is completely antequated, not at all consistent with current scarcity of posters, selling prices, etc. For instance, try finding some of the HOF or scarce Posters listed for anywhere near the prices reflected in the guide, if you can find them at all. A NM Willie McCovey, arguably among the scarcest of the 1968 series, for $45 in NM? This poster in this condition, when found, has sold at over $700.00. Would love to see this section updated next year to reflect accurate overall values based on the scarcity of certain posters depicted.

Great book. Everything you want to know about baseball cards and more. If you are a card collector this is the book.
