We had recently watched the movie again and wanted to have the soundtrack from it. It was everything we remembered it being.

Showing its age...
) The original recordings on this CD are showing their age. Distortion present in the old recordings and hiss mar some classic stuff. The last version of Also Sprach Zarathustra is a cleaner recording. Even so, the Gayane Ballet Suite and Blue Danube excerpts are still very moving.
