This book is quick, concise and for the firt time Ebayer. When I started on Ebay I was lost. Everything was new and there seemed so much to learn just to "play the game" and make purchases. It's definately fun once you learn the language, where to go to find what you want and then to get the item for the price you want. This book walks you through the basics. This book is not for the experienced Ebayer. The book starts with how to read a Home page and move forward then how to search for the item you want and looking to buy without having to sift through thousands of items of no interest to you. Later in the book he talks about advanced search techniques used to help you be a better buyer or seller. Another good chapter is going through a listing and learning to read a listing and decipher all the information and if you aren't sure of something how to contact the seller. All this sounds easy now but when you first get started it's a bit overwhelming. Always contact a seller if you have questions. Feedback is discussed and it's importance to the buyer and the seller. It's always important to check feedback and determine if the seller is someone you want to buy from - likewise it's important for new sellers to establish a good feeback rating. All of this is discussed in the book. Other chapters discuss bidding and all the various types of buying. This is a quick read with very good information. There are alot of good books about ebay -what sets this book apart is the quick concise access to the information you need to get started.
