The video and sound quality are excellent on this dvd. It's the original full-length broadcast of the 1997 Daytona 500. As with all the Nascar dvd's, if you don't want to know who won the race and what the finishing order was, put the dvd in your player and then turn the volume down and look away for a minute or two. I still find it ridiculous they review the race before you even get a chance to watch it, but it is what it is.
Overall I give this dvd a 5 out of 5 rating. :)

i like jeff gordon and i don't believe that i had the chance to see this race when it happened so i purchased it so i can watch it over and over especially in the off season. thank you.
