A true classic novel and a book worth reading. This book is part of my personal library in my office. I promise you that you will not be dissapointed if you like classic books.

Yes, it's true. This probably is the most important book ever written. The impact this book has had on language, culture, and freedom is huge. Terms like Big Brother and Thought Police and doublethink all trace their roots back to this book.
If one were to read this book with the evening news in mind they would realize that it's not much of a stretch to say that this book is in many ways prophetic. You cannot walk in parts of England without government cameras following your movement. The USA is headed in that direction and the average joe is more than willing to give up freedom for "Safety". And what about the saying "War Is Peace" Kind of sounds like what our leaders are telling us now. "Freedom Is Slavery" and "Ignorance Is Strength" also sound eeriely familier.
