Occurs about 3 and 1/2 years into the Tribulation. This means our heroes are entering the time of the Great Tribulation. Nicholae has been killed and resurrected and named himself god. This starts the time of the Mark of the Beast. The Tribulation Force is still going strong despite having lost some critical members. Some new faces are introduced and one team member is viscously murdered. Jesus opens the first seal and the bearers of the Mark of the Beast are afflicted with boils that are untreatable incapaciting the GC forces. Micah, an old chacter who has been renamed by God, preaches at the Temple Mount. Nicholae desecrates the Temple and the Jews are outraged. Many flee to head to Petra, the promised place where the Jews will be safe until the Glorious Appearing of the Lord. Dramatic chase scenes and much blowing up of air vehicles, but whose'? Micah presents many miracles, including being shot at point blank range and surviving. The force sent by Nicholae to destroy Petra fails gloriously with a miracles from God. The second seal is opened and the sea turns to blood and all marine animals are killed. Many are stranded in the seas with no hope of rescue. At the end of the book Nicholae has sent his reaming air force to destroy Petra, we will not find out what happens till the next book. A real page turner - all the more so made because this book is based on Biblical prophesy.
