Antique & Collectible Buttons II
There are so many buttons made throughout the history of the world that a good descriptive guide to their origin and composition is invaluable to me and anyone interested in collecting buttons.
This book pictures examples of buttons made in approximately the last 150 years, states the material they are made from, some of the companies or artists that made them, and shows buttons not pictured in BOOK ONE of Debra Wisniewski's guide.
It also gives a price guide of each button which addresses my curiosity about the value of buttons.
The most informative and outstanding feature of this book and the reason I purchased it is the magnificent color and close-up photos of the buttons.
I strongly recommend this book to anyone who collects buttons, though more detailed information about manufacturing and material of buttons is addressed in the first book, "Antique & Collectible Buttons - Volume I".
