1878 Morgan Dollar

I loved it.Its better than the picture shown.Its a great collection piece that i'll pass one to one of my Grand Kids.

I make custom knife handles. I insert these miniature gold coins into the handles, as shields. I'm very happy with the results.

A vam 38 on a morgan dollar is one of the coins with doubling that is very easy to see. The doubling on the letters and stars stand out more than on a date or mint mark. A number of clashed dies on other vam coins you have to use your imagination but not on a vam 38. If you were just starting to show interest in collecting vams this would be a good place to start.
