Johnny Cash is one of the cornerstones of American Country Music. He really exudes the roots of the working man and the man's problems- recall the greats of Burning Ring of Fire and Folsom Prison. We know you can sing along.
As always, buying compilations of biggest hits is the good way to go for the beginning fan as you just can't go wrong and there's no need to fast forward through any slow stuff. Of course with the man in black there's little chance you'll find a song that you don't like.

16 Biggest Hits - Cash, Johnny (CD 1999)I grew up listening to 1950's rock & roll as well as country from that era. Johnny Cash was my dad's favorite and has become one of mine over the past few years!!!

Used CD Johnny CashI really like that it was used , but in very great condition. Look like it was not even put in a CD player. The seller was very correct about everything he had said aboit it.
The reason why I bought it was that I was looking to buy a CD on Ebay , any CD by Johnny Cash and that one I won was the perfect one that would fit into my library of CD's.
I hope to continue winning on Ebay for the stuff that best fits my needs.

I bought the Cd for my Dad I remember as a kid he used to listen to Johnny Cash on 8 track and I knew he would love it, and he does it is always on when he is home. Plus a 99 cent CD you cant beat that.

I like Johnny Cash over all, however, this CD is great because it has Cash's greatest songs. It's perfect for someone who has just begun to listen to Johnny Cash's music. The quality of sound is also great.

Let me start by saying: This cd is great! It has a small copilation of Johnny's good songs. The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that there is TWO IDENTICAL COPIES OF THIS CD WITH DIFFERENT COVERS ON IT. I recently bought one copy, and two weeks later I got the other one as a present. It really bothers me that "weasel" companies that make cds will wait a few years to change the logo of a ceratin cd, just so they can make more money.

16 Biggest Hits...Truly His Best!This CD filled with 16 of Johnny Cash's biggest hits is terrific w/ a capital T. Original fans and new fans alike will fall for Johnny's voice as it lulls you into a dreamlike state. The way he sings makes one feel as if he is performing for you and you alone. All 16 songs, weather or not they were #1 hits, are sure to make anyone a fan of the man in black.
