Instructions are clear and easy to follow. This book contains picture smocking designs as well as geometric suitable for yoke dresses, inserts, and several for bishop designs. Several picture smocking designs are offered for each holiday. Designs are suitable for babies, younger and older children as well as adult.

I bought this because I wanted a variety of designs available at my fingertips without investing in hundreds of individual smocking plates and having to keep up with them.

I have a new granddaughter and expect to be using this book for years to come.

Anyone interested in smocking and particularly those less experienced would enjoy using this book.
