Understand that this workout is not for people who want 6-pack abs and distended biceps. I can't see your myself at a gym and don't have time to go to classes on a regular basis, but I want to be ready for tennis. So I opted for this workout "lite"--and it works. In just 15 minutes the trainer gets you through a targeted workout that leaves you with nicely sore muscles and a feeling that you did something positive. The DVD has 3 workouts (abs, butt, arms) and a stretch segment. You can mix and match, depending on how much time and motivation you have. Excellent tips appear on the screen to help you with form, diet and attitude. If you did 2 segments 3 or 4 times a week, you would be very pleased with the result. If you are already in good shape or seeking a workout that leaves you driping with sweat, this DVD is not for you.

  15 Minute workout for dummies

I was hoping for a comprehensive 15 minute workout- instead each 15 minute segment focuses on a different aspect of a workout (ex: 15 of abs, 15 minutes of cardio...) I was wanting a compressed comprehensive 15 complete workout for those days I don't have 30min to 1 hour to exercise.

LOVE the 15 Minute Workouts for Dummies

I love this DVD. I bought it after my first child was born 4 1/2 years ago and I used it so much I wore out my copy. We had to buy a new one! I am now pregnant with our third child and I am still using it and loving it. The workouts are simple enough for those of us who are uncoordinated, yet "difficult" enough that you still feel the burn.

  Warm up not for dummies
Review created: 12/12/08

The toning exercises are great but I find the warm-up segments a little tricky. You actually have to be a bit co-ordinated to do them and, um, I'm not. This is why I bought 15 Minute Workouts for Dummies...

This is my 2nd copy, I wore out the 1st copy!

This workout is great for people who want to get back into shape. There are great tips and it goes slow enough for people who have been sedentary for a long time but fast enough for those who want to sweat. It is versatile enough so tht you can pick and choose which 15 minute workout you want to do. You can do all the warmups and all the workouts if you have time or you can do all the warmups and just 2 of the workouts or what ever suits you. Better to start slow than to hurt all over the first time you do the workouts. There are recommendations for how to make it more advanced. Wish there was an advanced for of this 15 minute workout. I have being doing this workout off and on for almost 2 years and I feel great. My back hurts less frequently and the same goes for my neck and shoulders. I alternate this with a great deal of exercise at work and other forms of workouts. Walking is the best exercise ever. I liked this exercise enough that I had to purchase a second copy when I wore out the first copy. I have tried so many others and they are boring.
