This was my first game that I ever played on the PlayStation. I was stuned at how much fun this game really was. I just kept playing and playing.

Purchased this game to replace one loaned out and never returned. As always, a fun game with lots of challenge for kids and adults. Cute creatures, multi levels of play. Very hard to put down. Fun for people to watch as others play. Good graphics, sound and controll.
Will buy other Spyro games in the series to complete the collection. Tons of fun.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. We had the game when it first came out, 8 years ago. We played it to death. The only place I could find it was on ebay. It plays perfectly and my son was very happy with his Christmas gift. The graphics and the music make this game a lot of fun.

Here's the first title in the Spyro series. This game is highly addictive. Your kids will love it, & after they go to bed, you won't want to put it down, either! This game has very easy game play, great story line, good graphics, & provides hours of entertainment. I highly recommend this game if you're interested in learning how Spyro began!!!!!

my mom got me this game in 1998 when it first came out and i loved it. out of every spyro game it has the best levels, the best worlds, and even the graphics arnt bad. it was amazing when i was little and i'm 19 now and still play it. i've beat it probally about 10 times by now. spyro enter the dragonfly was more directed towards little kids at a very easy level, i beat that thing in one day, but this original one is more challenging so a wide range of age groups will enjoy it! yeah, the newer spyros can swim under water, have electric breath, and fancy attack moves...but the first IS the best! buying that old, grey box playstation (that probally sells for $5 now haha) is worth it just for this game.

The kids like it alot. I'm all thumbs at games like that but give it to a kid and they will master it. I didn't really see a whole lot of violence but I've only seen very little. I would call it a good buy for everyone.

I love the game. I purchased it as it was at a reasonable price for me and I really wanted the game. It does have a couple of glitches now and then but nothing that can't be worked around. My biggest drawback is the fact that I forgot that I needed a Playstation 1 Memory card to save my progress. As it is, I have to restart from the beginning each time I play. In time, I should be getting really good at it.

I've never owned a playstation before. I had only played Spyro at friends houses, so when we got one I was so excited to find every Spyro game and bid on them :)
The item is in good condition except for a few scratches which makes the sounds and music a tid funny, but other than that it's great! :)

Gnasty Gnorc freezes the dragons when they call him ugly in a documentary video.Spyro is the only unfrozen dragon and it is up to him to free the dragons and find the dragon eggs and also to find the loose treasure in all the levels of the dragon kingdom.

I remembered playing this game and loving it as a kid, so I decided to hunt it down again. It's good as long as you don't want anything too complicated, like me. The only thing irking me is it is apparently incompatible with PS2 memory cards and I can't save my game. Of course, it could just be a faulty copy, but I have no way of knowing. Anyway, great game for kids and nostalgic adults alike!
