Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our the blue ray "1408"it was soooooo cheap [in price,not quality!] it work well no skips or gliches. it was wraped newish.there just wasn't any problem!! and again the price was better than a used movie. i bought the movie because iuse to own it, wanted to watch it and it wasn't there!![you know how carzy that can make you..]. so i went on line and proof...there it came[sorry baaaaaaaaaad grammer]....david

) I like the shining but I have to say 1408 has great casting with john Cusack delivering an excellent performance and Samuel L. Jackson providing excellent support to the mistique of the plot altough i have to say i saw the movie on a regular dvd and it had a totally different ending than the 1 on Blu-ray I enjoyed the origanl ending with Cusac escaping and playing the tape back and his wife hearing her daughters voice and dropping the glass but neither 1 of the alternate endings in the special features menu plays this scene all in all the visuals in this Blu-Ray are top notch and a must have if your a stephen King fan.

I have seen a lot of haunting movies and all I have to say its in the top five.Don,t watch alone.Stetphen King wrote and its alot better than the Shining,so if you have the nerve to watch try it

This is not a regular bloody terror film but a nice succession of different suspension sections brilliantly put together by which you won't have a clue what the next thrill will be.
John Cusack gives a showdown of his diversified actor skills.
Video and audio are however average for this BD version.
