Well I think the book has some really great pictures and gives you a good idea what type of items are being collected and their approximate value. I know that the value of items go up and down all the time, but I don't really expect that the prices on the cat items will ever drop much if at all. There are so many cat lovers out there. The figurines are so cute and well made that they will always hold a place in many peoples hearts as well as on their shelves.

) In collecting cat salt & pepper shakers it was time to figure out the values of them. This book was recomended by another book & while only one chapter was on shakers it was helpful in finding items that go with them as sets, making my shakers more valuable. Books like this make me a more informed buyer. The pictures are excellent. The problem with "value" books is they get dated and this book is over ten years old, but I get a ballpark estimate on the values of my collection.
