Twelve Monkeys
Bruce Willis is spectacular in this futuristic thriller. Twelve Monkeys is about a scientist who goes back in time to try and stop the release of a toxin in the air that caused the demolition of man kind.
Overall this is one of my favorite Sci-Fi films of all time, it's innovative, creative, and tons of fun.
I didn't like this movie the first time I saw this back in '96, but after watching it a couple years ago I had to buy it, and now I watch it routinely.
Final Verdict:
5/5
Rent or Buy?: If you love Bruce Willis, you'll love this film. Although I'd recommend renting it first though, if you're not a huge sci-fi fan, just in case.

Movie story is a little odd, even for a sci-fi buff. Brad Pitt gives a great performance of a mental patient.

This is a fun movie with Brad Pitt at his looniest. Bruce Willis is a time traveling convict, much against his will but anything is better than the cage prisoners in the future are kept in. Join these 2 intriguing actors as they fight against the odds to save the world from a psychotic inventor. Much more colorful than many futuristic movies. Did I mention it is loads of fun?

) I have finally gone HD. Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are very similar in their visual quality, but, Blu-Ray is still a little better.
This movie I purchased it originally in VHS, then DVD and now HD. It is astoundingly better in HD. ALL SCI-FI NEEDS TO BE TRANSFERRED.
