What a fun book! I always enjoy books that keep me guessing. Books that are not predictable. Kathleen Nance has written a book about a genie - djinni - with a fresh imagination. Interesting concept - and I never knew where she was going to go with that concept.
I discovered Kathleen Nance when reading the Bonzai MaGuire series started by Susan Grant. Day of Fire had a lot more substance to it. Characters were fleshed out and more believable. So I decided to try her on her own. And I always try to read books in the order they were written.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book - couldn't wait to get back to it. What more could you ask for? Take a chance with Kathleen Nance. You won't regret it!
