) A beautiful delving into the mythos of ancient Japan. The cut-scenes are well done with the hypnotic voice of a mysterious Princess giving advice and background information on the stage you are about to enter.
There are many different weapons to find or purchase. You can replay completed levels in an attempt to gain a higher rating. I would have liked a 'block' button, and although you can fling back enemy projectiles by a careful press of an attack button this is none too easy.
When you get the craving for some Japanese-videogame arcade flash and style this is a good bet to fill the need. The Xbox is woefully short of these sorts of games.

Great hack & slash game!Unique storyline, great graphics and tight controls. A must buy for Onimusha game fans. A great game if you can get it used for under $20. It would be great if they make this compatible with the xbox 360!
