
A flip book full of excellent ideas

This flip book is a wonderful way to get bite size versions of Dr. Wayne Dyer's messages. As the title states, it contains 101 suggestions on how to transform your life.
The suggestions are practical and postive. They're stated in clear, accessable language so they're easy to understand. Occasionally, one can seem a little repetative of a previous suggestion. In the end, it comes across more as Dr. Dyer saying the same thing in a different way to reinforce an earlier message, so it works.
On a personal level, these suggestions have been life changing. Every time I read it, I learn something new. Different suggestions resonate with me each time. This came into my life during a very dark time when I purchased the cassette which I would listen to it at night, before bed. After taking copius notes, it was a delight to find the book so I had the suggestions accessible at any moment. The ideas put forth have helped me gain the courage to improve my life. The first messages that did so were the ones on letting go of my attachment to physical stuff.
It's an interesting book as it can be used in several different ways due to the format. You can read it all at once, look at just a few suggestions a day, or even one a day. Being able to divide the book into smaller chunks is especially nice since self-help material can be overwhelming.
It's also helpful because the suggestions can be read in any order. That way, one can focus on whatever idea seems most important and not have to wade through a bunch of other material. The flipbook style makes it easy to find a particular message, and since the book folds into a stand up, display the message for reinforcement throughout the day. And as you grow, the flipbook includes several blank pages for you to write your own insights to read or display.
This flip book is companion to an audiobook of the same name. The two work well together since the you can listen to the audiobook at times when reading's not possible. Plus, Dr. Dyer expounds on each suggestion in the audiobook, so there's more to think about. That expansion is the only thing missing from the flipbook. So, if you've already heard the audiobook, know that the flipbook version only contains the suggestions and not any of Dr. Dyer's expansions.
This book is an excellent addition to any library. It's well done and full of practical, postive ways to change one's life.
