Wow! So many ideas, so many variations. When can I get started? Will I live long enough to make all the quilts I want to make?
This is a great book. And the 9 patches are mostly squares and strips -- easier than most other patchwork designs.
Lots of pictures to look at. I love pictures for ideas.

) Marti Michell is a great teacher and this book has such great depth - you can do easy peasy or exercise your creativity to grow your skills. I agree with an earlier reviewer - will I live long enough to make all the quilts I dream of using the layouts in this book!

I like books with real meat to their instructions...not just pretty pictures and fluff. Something well written from deep personal expertise. Well this is it.
If you want real options that build to complexity from the simplest premises...this is it. Good info...well presented.
