101 Dalmatians (DVD, 2008, 2-Disc Platinum Edition)

This is one of those great disney films we all grew up on. I absolutly love everything about this film, from the sweet double love story (man meet woman falls in love, Dog meets dog falls in love) To the evil Cruella de'ville and her plot to make a fur coat out of the skin of 101 dalmation puppies... If anyone else made this it would be a very scary movie -- with disney it's fun for the whole family.

well this is a good movie. anything that got dogs in it my daughter loves it. and i seen it on ebay and it was a good price. and i bid on it and got it

This is a nice movie- appropriate for all ages. For the adults, the plot is not quite as well developed / interesting as some of the more recent Disney movies, but sometimes that's the trade off to get something that is truly appropriate for young children. Also, not a lot of music / songs in this one. There is just one to be exact- but it is truly catchy- the Cruella DeVille song.

When Pongo, the dog, looks out his window and sees Perdita being walked by her owner it is love at first sight. Thankfully for them, dog owners Roger and Anita fall in love too. Soon after they marry, Pongo and Perdita become the proud parents of 15 dalmation puppies. But when Anita's old friend, the fur-coat-obsessed Cruella DeVille, finds out she quickly arranges a dognapping! It is up to Pongo and Perdita to rescue thier puppies before Cruella can make coats out of them.

Be aware that the plot gets kind of intense toward the end and may be scary for some young children. Also there is some name calling- just about all the adults in the film call Roger an "idiot" at some point or another. Sometimes it is in jest and sometimes not. Pretty mild by today's standards, I suppose...

Great classic family friendly Disney movie!! I grew up watching it and now my daughter can too! She loves dogs and animals which is a plus! A must have for all Disney movie collectors and lovers!!!

I adore this Walt Disney classic. Really, one needs to see it and judge for themselves, as some may find it not as uppity and musically full of fun as the others. The antagonist in the movie may scare some small children. Otherwise, I am certain that the new release of this movie is more bright and has additional features as it is now on DVD *FOR A LIMITED TIME!!!* Don't we all hate that vault-O-Walt? lol

A must have for your Disney Collection! You cant go wrong with this one. I thought they could have done a little better on the graphics, but still a great movie.

I bought this movie, 101 Dalmatians on VHS sometime ago for my son's Disney Collection and this particular movie some how disappeared years ago. If you could have seen the look on my sons face when I placed this brand movie, wrapped in plastic with box case. An original Disney Classic on dvd in his hand. It was priceless!! Though he is alot older now, he still loves that movie. Thank You!!

Ive loved this movie since childhood!!! Especially since I have had a dalmation at all times in my life since I was two an I'm twenty-five now. My wife an I enjoy watching this movie anytime and hopefully will enjoy it with our kids someday. With our family dalmation of course... No matter what this is and always will be a true disney classic and family tradition of ours!!!

p.s. Cruella is still freaky to me still... ;)

I love this movie, I always have. This platinum edition has great picture quality as well. It is a must have in a disney dvd collection.

This movie is so well produced and so funny, that it will remain in the history for as long as the human kind will have it. Loved by the entire family and very intelligent - much more so that any newer of it. NO REMAKE WILL EVER BEAT IT.
