101 Dalmatians (1997, VHS)

Kids will like it but parents will probably just have to suffer through it. It was a good movie but the cartoon version was better to me.

It was packaged well, shipped and received at my house within a week of my purchase, product in good shape.

The film is fantastic! The parts are played flawlessly by the actors and actresses. I bought the item because my daughter loves the 101 Dalmatians cartoon movie from Disney.

This movie is a classic that eveyone should see. Between the actors Gleen Close, Hugh Laurie, Jeff Daniels, and the dogs you don't want it to come to the end any time soon! They all are great in this movie.

The movie was a gift the person loved it because it is a hard to find movie and person was selling it for a Great Price

You laugh , you sit together what could be so bad? Great family flick with something for everyone. The dog family is darling and the Housekeeper is a hoot. Everyone can agree that Cruella is the worst and when she gets hers she really deserves it!

I love the movie. Purchased it for my great grandson. great price, great seller. Wish the dvd was more reasonable, but the vhs works fine for him.

Before watching this film I was worried- How could Disney possibly take this classic storyline and turn it into a live action movie that would appeal to children AND adults WITHOUT COMPLETELY BUTCHERING IT? Not to worry- the way they have converted and updated this film is truly impressive. In fact, it is just as impressive as the cast of characters, that includes Glenn Close, as a fabulous Cruella De Vil, Hugh Laurie (from House), as one of her bumbling henchmen and Jeff Daniels, as Roger. Although the dogs do not actually talk to each other in this one, thier use of nonverbals is excellent and clearly manages to tell their part of the story. To make up for lack of dialogue between the dogs, the stories between the human actors has been expanded, which I think adds a new and interesting dimension to the storyline.

In this one Roger is not a musician trying to compose a hit song, he is a video game designer trying to create the perfect villian for his latest dalmation- inspired game and Anita is a fashion designer. She works for The House of De Vil, which is of course, owned and ruthlessly operated by the fur- obsessed Cruella. Cruella begins taking notice of Anita as a designer when she sees a drawing of a dalmation- inspired dress that she has done. And when Anita decides to work at home after a whirl wind romance and wedding to Roger, Cruella feels snubbed and vows revenge...

Although this movie is rated G, I would not recommend it for younger viewers. The Cruella character is very scary and some of the chase/ escape scenes appear even more intense than they are in the cartoon version.

Bought this movie for my 3 yr. old son, who loves the "puppies" & loved the cartoon version. As in the Disney tradition, fantastic! A must for every family oriented home.

I bought this tape for myself-I loved the cartoon version-however I watch the TV show House and when I saw Hugh Laurie acting as one of the thieves-I had to have the movie-shows him in a different light-Plus the grandkids like the dogs

I love this movie because I am a animal lover. I have look everywhere for this movie and I could not find it. That is when I started looking on ebay and I was outbidded twice. The first two I bought where the cartoons I wanted the orginal movie. I finally got it. I would tell anyone to bid and buy on ebay. I have never been dissatisfied.

Despite looking like I received a used copy in a broken vhs cover, received in good time, and movie works fine. Would consider using this vendor again.

Again, this is my daughters favorite. We had to have it. I personally like the animated version better. Its less scary for little ones and a little less harsh.

Bought the VHS for my daughter who loves 101 dalmations. It's nice that she can watch it whenever she wants in her own room and play along.

I bought this video for my daughter who just loves it to death. She loves dogs!
I like the bright colors and how close it is to the cartoon one.

bought several children's movies that would have cost me twice the price at a retail store.there is a great variety if movies available on ebay.

I bought this item for my granddaughter because she loves dalmatians and this tape cannot be bought in the stores at this time. I have had excellent service with eBay and will continue to buy. I have not received any item that I was not pleased with. Thanks again for the great service.
