Part Time Income for the Gutsy
Trent Hamm's "1001 Ways" is a good-natured exposition of uncommon but lucrative methods of earning a dollar in a declining economy. He scorns no legal way to make a buck, and some of the listed work is dangerously close to dishonesty.
The majority of jobs, though, are honest, tedious, and available to anyone with the moxie to do the work. The book is fairly comprehensive, though he misses some obvious occupations--tomato sales from the trunk lid, weekend flea marketing for profit, door-to-door vending of wholesale items.
Definitely worth the money. Hamm is well-known for his "Simple Dollar" blog, and his expertise at keeping his readers' budgets balanced is legendary. If "Son of 1001 Ways" is published, I'll be back to eBay for that second helping.
