Returning with a stellar sophomore album, Ginuwine picks up where his 1996 debut album left off. On 100% GINUWINE, he sounds prepared to break out into superstar pop status. Packed with lyrical passion and bomb beats, the soulful singer has found a maturity and depth to his music that is rare for a sophomore album. Produced mostly by Timbaland, 100% GINUWINE is everything a '90s R&B album should be. It contains a balance of ballads and head-nodders, with lyrics you'll want to return to again and again.
Among the stand-out tracks are "Final Warning" which features an appearance from the sweet-voiced Aaliyah, "Wait A Minute," a slow-building ballad with beautiful harmonies that could be described as blues-meets-R&B-meets-hip-hop, and "I'm Crying Out." Also, be sure to check out the remake of the classic Michael Jackson song "She's Out Of My Life." This album is a must for Ginuwine fans, and for anyone who appreciates polished, passionate soul music.
