Sounds that could only come from Tool

Tool delivers big with its latest CD, 10,000 days. Tracks number one and five are a couple of my personal favorites, with five being the well known Muddy Waters song. Tool delievers with its signature sound of hard hitting guitar riffs and drums that have a rhythm unique to Tool, and has created the following of fans that Tool enjoys today. Lead singer Maynard throws in a little new sound with the song Muddy Waters. He sings in a higher pitch than is common for him, and pulls it off extremely well. It gives Tool a new, fresh sound, but while still sounding astoundingly Tool-ish. The rest of the CD is excellent also, with many eight to ten minute songs that is the norm for Tool. Many of the songs start off slow, and build to a crescendo in the last few minutes, leading the listener on a journey through the song that ends with intense guitar, hard hitting bass and drums, and Maynard's unmistakable singing. This buy is well worth it, not only for the music, but also for the CD cover art. While downloading seems like the way to go, one can miss out on the artistic side by not having the cover, which is equipped with special goggles to view the art. While these are just a couple of small magnifying glasses, they provide an interesting perspective on the cover art, and the art within on various pages. It is well worth it to purchase the actual CD, esspecially if one cares about their collection of music, and not just how much they can stream for free and store on their computer. To sum up: Tool hits a homerun with its latest, 10,000 days.
